A milestone project by Panchshil Realty to capture the IT boom of Pune, EON is a 4 million squarefeet campus housing the giants of IT & ITES sector. The design conceived as a cluster of four buildings, each as a petal to form a beautiful flower which is futuristic yet inspired by nature.
The design proposed was contemporary, yet minimalistic. Each building is a G+7 storey structure where every floor plate houses 4 independent office wings with 3 connecting cores, and angular double glazed facade.
The contours on site were utilized for sectional displacement of parking and other amenities and creating pleasant pockets of landscape.
The roof which is the most fascinating element derives its shape from the cross-section of the nautilus curving in all 3 planes making it the most challenging construction using the standing seam technology.
EON is a perfect study of how an innovative design, eliminates the paradox between a form inspired by nature for a futuristic design; living up to its name - EON.
