The club house by virtue of its location and function becomes a focal point for any residential complex. Similarly Tuffnel club, located in residential complex in Kochi, functions as a core of recreational facilities squash court, swimming pool, gym and spa facility.
Design is a minimalistic juxtaposition of planes. A central spine is skylight double height space which houses the lobby and circulation areas. The monotony of length is broken by connecting bridges at the upper level.
Varying textures of rough stone, smooth plaster, FRP jaalis and glass panel compliment the design. The green wall with wooden louvers is a prominent feature lending a natural touch to the lounge.
