The design ideology was to create a balance between an ostentatious classical design and a minimalist modern design. The art deco style of design was thus adapted since it drew out the best of both worlds.
The mall is clearly designed targeting a premium life style shoppers and the ambience is opulent, yet not intimidating. Attention has been paid to the interior detailing of the mall and the materials used so as to complement this vision.
Use of a variety of Italian marbles, back lit yellow onyx for entrance, creates an elegant ambience. Entrances to the mall are highlighted by use of Gold leafed ceilings with lavish light fittings to add to the effect. Veneer cladding on the neutral piers is appealing. They render a subtle transition between shop windows. The ‘Frozen fountain motif’ has been used repeated for various jallies and design elements in the mall. Skillful use of mirrors, also an art deco feature accentuates the impact.
